Connie Lim Illustration

Californian designer and illustrator Connie Lim creates glamorous, dark, yet playful girls on playing cards, proving that fashion creativity really has no limits.

Inspired by avant-garde English designers Gareth Pugh and Alexander McQueen, Connie's favorite characters are fashionable gothic queens, bold, beautiful and dangerous women, with dark make-up and incredible high-heels. In fact, her illustrated queens led to an entire set of playing cards with a glamorous twist.

Connie Lim's creates her fashion illustrations using pen, ink and gouache. They have been featured in Dazzed Digital, Idol Magazine, exhibited at Gallery Nucleus along with a capsule fashion collection that embodies her feminine and dark style.

Kelly Smith is an Australian Illustrator, working predominantly in fashion and portraiture.

 She takes inspiration from fashion, film and fairytales, Kelly's fine detailed pencil work captures a likeness to her subjects, traditionally created on one layer, while watercolour and digital elements add subtle hints of colour and softness.
